THE 27 LIFE's underlying and inimitable aesthetic expresses London born artist Daisuke Sakaguchi's love for creative design, the culture associated with it and the fusion of his Japanese and British roots. As an artist and creative designer, he is an ardent believer in the concept of identity and that the streets are a public gallery; inviting you to display your work with the opportunity to show others your style and passion. This philosophy, together with a BA (Hons) Degree from Central Saint Martins College in Jewellery Design, allows Daisuke to draw on his experiences to create and sell well crafted design pieces and art work unlike any other creative designer. in early 2012 Daisuke produced the spectacular Giant "MIRAI" Egg for The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt 2012 exhibition that was nested proudly on Newburgh Street, Central London and at the Covent Garden Piazza along with the collection of limited edition 10 Fabergé African Ostrich eggs exclusively for Selfridges London. In May he created the awesome "TOMODACHI" BT ArtBox for The BT ArtBox Exhibition 2012. Daisuke's stunning hand painted transformation of the iconic British 1935 Sir Giles Gilbert Scott K6 BT Phone Box was standing tall on Newport Place, the heart of London's China Town, for public display during June and July 2012. It was then sold by Sotheby's at the exclusive auction event held in the National Portrait Gallery. In September he presented his spectacular 1 of 1 "CHIKARA" Giro bicycle helmet that was showcased at the Sotheby's gallery, London, which was then auctioned by Oliver Barker, Deputy Chairman of Sotheby's, on the evening of 19th September 2012 to raise money for The Legacy List Charity.
